Compiz Fusion & Ubuntu
So Ubuntu actually comes with a minimal version of this application but to get full use out of it I had to install the settings manager thingy.
There are two ways to do this according to Ubuntu forums.
One:
Click System>Administration>Synaptic Package Manager
Then click the search button and type: Compiz Settings Manager
Right Click and select mark for installation then click apply and BOOM you have it
Two:
Click Applications>Accessories>Terminal
Type: Sudo Apt-Get Install compizconfig-settings-manager
After you install this application you click System>Preferences>Appearance
Then click the Visual Effects tab
Then select Extra and click Apply
After that they are enabled
Now obviously by default this application won’t enable everything so to add features or to remove them
Go to System>Preferences>CompizConfig Settings Manager
Here’s some screen shots of what it lets you do!
